All-Thumbs-Up Review of Russian Life, not just this issue

As a long-time reader of Russian Life, I value this magazine because the stories cover a long span of history and a broad range of places and of themes and topics -- but is never superficial. Knowledgeable writers from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds. Fantastic photos. Covers the big stories and also wanders off the beaten path to investigate quirks, oddities and mysteries. High quality is consistent year after year. I have the highest admiration for this publishing venture.
